LAST SUPPER NO. 3 by Veronica B. Velasco

Winner of the Balaghai Trophy at the 2009 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, Last Supper No. 3 takes the viewer on a journey through the ridiculousness of the Filipino legal system. The film is a comic farce revolving around Wilson Nañawa, a production assistant who loses a piece of prop – a tapestry of the Last Supper – for an TV commercial shoot, and haplessly endures two years entangled in the courthouse red tape.
